			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Stephen&#8217;s new feature article in the January/February edition of <em>Camping Magazine</em>, <a href="http://www.acacamps.org/campmag/1201/unpacking-summer" target="_blank">Unpacking Summer</a>, addresses the difficulty many young people face at times of transition, in this case the end of summer camp.  It includes input and advice from <a style="cursor: default; color: blue; text-decoration: underline;" href="http://www.capecodseacamps.com/">Cape Cod Sea Camps</a> campers and their parents and offers some strategies that apply to most any transition.  It also outlines common social-emotional reactions to loss and helps us to better understand a normal grieving process and how to help kids cope in such circumstances.  This will also be the topic of Stephen&#8217;s upcoming presentation at the American Camp Association&#8217;s annual conference in Atlanta, GA.</p>
